CLS Student Receives Prestigious National Ministry Fellowship

Quinn C. Moerike, a second-year Master of Divinity student at CLS, has been recognized as a young leader who demonstrates exceptional gifts for ministry by The Fund for Theological Education (FTE). As a recipient of a 2008 FTE Ministry Fellowship, Moerike will receive $10,000 for educational expenses and to fund a self-designed summer project to enrich his formation as a ministerial leader. He will also attend a leadership development program and the 2008 FTE Conference on Excellence in Ministry June 8-15 at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology in Atlanta.
Dr. Edward G. Kettner nominated Moerike for the fellowship award.
FTE Ministry Fellows are selected competitively from a pool of applicants across the U.S. and Canada. They must be nominated by their seminary dean or president, have a minimum grade point average of 3.3 at the end of their first academic term and possess intellectual and interpersonal gifts for pastoral leadership.
