Dr. John Hellwege was installed as the newest member of Concordia Lutheran Seminary's faculty yesterday during the chapel service. Dr. Hellwege begins his teaching assignment this fall semester with classes in Theological Method for first year students and Faith, Life, and Ethics for second and fourth year students. Dr. Hellwege received his Master of Divinity in 1999 and a Master of Sacred Theology in 2000, both from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. In 2009 he received a PhD in Historical Theology, also from Concordia Seminary, with a dissertation discussing American Lutheran perceptions of pre-war Nazi Germany.
