“Ministry Beyond”

This fall's Quest course focuses on auxiliary ministries in LCC that complement and supplement the pastoral office. Topics progress from historical and theological surveys of helping ministries in congregational contexts, to a look at Lutheran schools, to a focus on outreach and mission. Our sessions will be lead by Deacon Jennifer Frim (first two sessions), Rev. Mark Dressler (third session), and Deacon Michael Gillingham (fourth session).

Tuesday 2 October “Ministry beyond our time: Ministering to God’s people in the Bible”
Tuesday 9 October:  “Ministry beyond the pastor: The supporting role of the auxiliary office”
Tuesday 16 October: “Ministry beyond the congregation: Lutheran schools and teachers”
Tuesday 23 October: “Ministry beyond your front door: Short-term missions”

Attend Quest for free - in person at the seminary or online. A free-will donation is acceptable. Group participation using the seminary’s online platform is welcome. Please register with Kathy Budgell, or 780-474-1468 ext. 225.
