CLS seeks to call a full-time faculty member

Concordia Lutheran Seminary, Edmonton, Alberta seeks to call a full-time faculty member. The MDiv curriculum follows the classical model (exegetical, historical, systematic, and practical coursework). Candidates meriting serious consideration will be ordained pastors of Lutheran Church-Canada or one of its partner-churches who possess significant parish experience, an earned terminal degree (Th.D or Ph.D), proficiency in one of the four specialty areas but able to teach in a variety of theological disciplines, administrative capability, a positive and pastoral personality, and a commitment to excellence in pastoral formation and service to the Church. A call will be issued in May 2018 for service at CLS beginning in August 2018. Nominations are sought by  15 Jan 2018 . Interested candidates are invited to contact Dr. Jim Gimbel, President ( ). 

CLS Welcomes Kathy Budgell as new Administrative Assistant

CLS is thrilled to welcome Kathy Budgell to our CLS Community.  She begins her new job January 3rd.  She is an experienced administrator and will gift the Seminary with her abilities.  May God bless your work at CLS and for the church at large.
