The Quest Continues - Week 4

Image
Thanks to everyone joining in on the Quest remote series on zoom. By now you have had a chance to meet some of your marvelous brothers and sisters in Christ who are also part of Lutheran Church-Canada. Has it not been marvelous getting better acquainted with them?  Our final week of Quest brings into focus two other very special parts of the body of Christ. We call this part LCC: in recognition that Canada and LCC are increasingly more diverse, we get to meet three gifted LCC pastors who come from distinct cultures and serve unique settings. We also are introducing and getting better acquainted with three of our first-year seminary students (future pastors) and their families. You won't want to miss this final session of the Fall CLS Quest.  Also... hold the date for Spring Quest, tentatively scheduled for March 2-23 (finishing the week before Holy Week), likely again by Zoom only. There will be more information on Quest - the topic, location, and timing -will be announced closer t

Experience Quest - The Body of Christ/Communion of Saints

Image
There is a rich theology in God’s design for the Body of Christ and Communion of Saints. Who are we in LCC? Join us live-streamed on our YouTube channel each Tuesday night from October 13 - November 3 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. as we explore firsthand the variety of sincere faith expressed by the Body of Christ, who the Holy Spirit forms into the Communion of Saints in Faith. The sessions will include interviews of a variety of people from LCC about their lives as people of faith. These people include clusters of youth, families, LCC board members, cross-cultural pastors, students, leaders, and ordinary people of faith who, like you, want to live for Christ and serve him. Two of the eight clusters of Zoom interviews will unfold each night between 7-9 p.m. MT (with a brief break in between).  As there won't be "in-person" sessions, we are offering Quest sessions that you can watch from the convenience of your home devices. Please go to our YouTube channel https://www.youtu
